ABOUT EMILIA

4.jpeg

I am a hands-on maker with a background in industrial design, focused on creativity through problem-solving and technical processes. Throughout my design journey, I've learned to approach challenges as opportunities, viewing each one as a puzzle to solve through curiosity and material experimentation. I believe that without experimentation, there is little room for discovery and growth.

I am eager to join a studio that values attention to detail, where I can bring my commitment to the craft and further develop my construction skills. I look forward to continuing to build with my hands and exploring all that design has to offer. I am confident that my dedication and hands-on experience will contribute positively to any creative team.

I come from a small coastal town in Rhode Island, right next to a nature reserve. Growing up with my sister, we were always surrounded by animals and wildlife. Attending an all-girls school before college helped shape my confidence, resilience, and leadership skills, all of which continue to influence my work and approach to design.
